Tournament Details
Eligibility:
The Men’s Invitational is open to all male members in good standing of Nevada County Country Club who hold a current USGA handicap. This is a member-guest event, where each NCCC member invites a non-member guest as their teammate. Entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of a completed entry form. The Golf Shop will confirm all entries by email or phone.
Format:
A medley of formats with adjusted handicaps:
- Saturday AM: Best Ball – 85%
- Saturday PM: Scramble – 35% + 15%
- Sunday AM: Chapman Scotch – 60% + 40%
- Sunday PM: Both Balls Net – 85%
- Championship Shootout: Horse Race (Alternate Shot – 50%)
Flights will be based on combined team handicap. The top teams in each flight will move on to the Championship Shootout.
Tiebreakers:
- Flight ties: Broken using scorecard comparison (hardest to easiest holes)
- Shootout ties: Resolved with a chip-off (closest to the pin on the green wins)
Tees: White/Blue Combo Tees
Entry Fee: $300 per team
