Chris Hart

Chris Hart

My name is Chris Hart, I have a family of four, a lovely wife and two boys.  We use the golf course as much as possible. We’ve been married 17 years and actually met at the club.  I started a career in golf in 1999 as night irrigator at NCCC.  I moved to Monterey and worked at Spyglass Hill and learned how a world class resort operates.

In 2002 I moved to Coyote Moon in Truckee as assistant superintendent and later became superintendent.  Over a decade I designed accurate budgets and improvements.  I have a depth of experience and extensive knowledge in the industry and a passion for the game of golf.

I currently work as a financial advisor at Edward Jones and have deepened my understanding of complex business and personal relationships.  I understand how to effectively manage a small and efficient budget.

I currently serve on the board at NCCC and ask for your support to serve an additional term and continue the legacy of our club.  Thank you for your consideration.  Please call with any questions: 530-559-8076.

Jim Moran

Jim Moran

A longtime local resident and nine-year NCCC member, Jim lives in Nevada City with his wife Kyndra and son Max, 8.  Jim is a general contractor and former professional snowboarder.

“There are some good changes going on at the club and I want to help facilitate that,” says Jim.  He feels his background and experience in construction could help the club in determining expected costs for its improvement projects.

He spends as much time at the club as time permits, playing golf every Saturday with Max and with others as he can.  He says he values the opinions of others and as a director will seek out ideas for making the club an even better place.

He is supportive of the plan to complete the SkyTrak golf suite, noting that it should prove very popular, especially during the rainy season when the weather may impact outdoor golf.

Please contact Jim if you have any questions.

Brian O’Brien

Brian O'Brian

I was born and raised in Nevada County where I raised our two children, Melanie and David, with my wife of 29 years, Rachel. Growing up in Alta Sierra, from a young age I worked at Alta Sierra Country Club in many aspects including three years in Maintenance where I learned a lot about getting things done with limited budgets. Many of these helpful lessons have helped me with the many organizations I have been involved with over the years.  I currently am an owner and Vice President of Beam Easy Living Center where I have 30 years experience in sales, marketing and management.

I have enjoyed my recent years as a member at NCCC and would be honored to bring what I can to improve the experiences of our members and take on the tough task of sustained growth in today’s golf industry.  My goal is to create a positive experience to all who come to the club while striking a delicate balance of membership incentives through a higher level of exclusivity.

I feel this can be an exciting time for our club and an opportunity for needed growth moving forward.  If anyone would like to ask any questions of me please feel free to contact me via email or phone.

Dale Soring

Dale Soring

I’m Dale Soring, a candidate for your NCCC Board of Directors.  I’ve been a member of the club for nine years and I play golf three times a week.  Suffice it to say, golf is my main hobby.

I’ve been retired for 10 years.  In my former life, I was a project manager for Trident submarines.  I had responsibility for managing workloads and ensuring work was completed in a timely fashion.  I also have relevant experience in data base management.

I would like to see the club get on a strong fiscal footing, so we will continue well into the future.  I would also like to see the club grow membership and remain member focused.

I would appreciate your support.
